چکیده
Abstract The faster and heavier trains in modern railway traffic are getting popularity the public transportation authorities of many countries. Such cause higher stresses excessive deformations ballasted track substructure under train dynamic loadings, which raises risk damage derailment. It is thus essential to investigate impact different influencing factors on response track–ground systems. In this study, a sophisticated three-dimensional finite element model simulating realistic moving loads presented used tracks terms stress transmission deflections various train–track–ground conditions. considered study include modulus thicknesses layers, amplitude speed. outcomes encompass important guidance engineers assist finding best possible scheme for design lifetime maintenance.

Analysis of a gear train using finite element modelling
Here the theoretical maximum contact stress is calculated by Hertz equation. Also the finite element analysis of spur gear is done to determine the maximum contact stress by ANSYS 14.5. It was found that the results from both Hertz equation and Finite Element Analysis are comparable. From the deformation pattern of steel and grey cast iron, it could be concluded that difference between the maxi...
متن کاملDynamic Response of the Coupled Vehicle-Floating Slab Track System using Finite Element Method
In present study, a mathematical model of the vehicle–floating slab track (FST) interaction is established to investigate the coupled behaviour of vehicle–track system. The FST is modelled as the double Euler -Bernoulli beam including the rail and slab. The railway vehicle is simplified as a multi-rigid-body model. The wheel–rail interface is treated using a nonlinear Hertzian contact model, co...
متن کاملAnalysis of a Beam under Moving Loads
Abstract: It is assumed that a beam made of material has a physical nonlinear behavior. This beam is analyzed under the moving concentrated and distributed continuous loads. The vibration equations of motion are derived from the Hamilton's Principle and Euler–Lagrange Equation. In this study, the amplitude of vibration, circular frequency, bending moment, stress and deflection of the beam has b...
متن کاملDynamic Analysis of Hyperestatic Structures under High Speed Train Loads
The construction of new high speed railway infrastructure in many European countries is actually a great civil engineering effort. One of the main design issues is related to the fact that trains at speeds above 220 km/h may induce resonance effects in structures as bridges, subway frames, etc. In consequence, the design of such structures requires dynamic calculations. Several methods are avai...
متن کاملDesign improvement and dynamic finite element analysis of novel ITI dental implant under dynamic chewing loads.
The main aim of this article was to introduce the application of a uniform design for experimental methods to drop the micromotion of a novel ITI dental implant model under the dynamic loads. Combining the characteristics of the traditional ITI and Nano-Tite implants, a new implant with concave holes has been constructed. Compared to the traditional ITI dental implant model, the micromotion of ...
